MONTREAL, November 5, 2021 – Today, CanVECTOR awarded the network's first Clinical Research Coordinator of the Year Award. Amanda Pecarskie of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) has been named the recipient of the inaugural award.  Dr. Marc Rodger and Dr. Susan Kahn, CanVECTOR Co-Directors,  announced the winner of the award at the CanVECTOR 2021 Annual Conference.

In light of on-going developments with COVID-19 and after thoughtful discussions with staff, partners, and vendors, CanVECTOR has decided to move our CanVECTOR 2021 Annual Conference (Friday, November 5th) to a fully online, virtual experience. We believe this is best decision for our network at this time.

MONTREAL, September 22, 2021 – CanVECTOR is now welcoming applications for the Network's Fall 2021 Research Training Awards (Fellowship) Competition with a submission deadline of November 8, 2021. The purpose of the Research Training Awards is to provide financial support for highly qualified, promising graduate students or fellows to allow them to pursue research training in thromboembolism at a Canadian Centre.

MONTREAL, August 26, 2021 – CanVECTOR is thrilled to announce the launch of the CanVECTOR 2021 Annual Conference Abstract Competition. Eligible applicants are invited to submit abstracts by September 12, 2021.
