ANNOUNCEMENT: CanVECTOR 2021 Conference is Going Virtual

Dear CanVECTOR members and colleagues,

In light of on-going developments with COVID-19 and after thoughtful discussions with staff, partners, and vendors, CanVECTOR has decided to move our CanVECTOR 2021 Annual Conference (Friday, November 5th) to a fully online, virtual experience. We believe this is best decision for our network at this time.

While we were excited at the prospects of seeing everyone in person, we are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer a full-day of virtual events on Friday, November 5th, 2021. A special thank you is in order to our speakers and our planning committee - particularly the co-chairs, Dr. Cynthia Wu and Dr. Maha Othman, for creating a flexible schedule that is prepared for a virtual-only event.

Please note: The Thrombosis Canada Conference on Saturday, November 6th will still be offering a hybrid event - guests are welcome to attend virtually or in-person.

For Those Who Have Already Registered

All in-person registrations for the CanVECTOR conference will automatically be changed to virtual registrations. No action is required on your part to attend the conference virtually if you have already registered for the event.

CanVECTOR Conference Program

We have an outstanding lineup of speakers and sessions that includes presentations from clinical and basic science trainees in the 3-Minute Thesis Competition, Workshops focusing on Patient Experience Storytelling and Patient Partners in Research, a Top-rated Abstract Competition & Poster Session, and important Keynote Plenary Presentations featuring Dr. Andreas Greinacher - presenting on Vaccine-Induced Immune Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT), and Dr. Michelle Sholzberg - presenting on the RAPID-COVID-COAG trial.

For complete details about each conference program, please visit the joint-conference homepage or our websites: CanVECTOR |  Thrombosis Canada

With kind regards.
