Lori-Ann Linkins and Alfonso Iorio as Co-Leads of the CanVECTOR Knowledge Translation Platform and a subsequent open nomination process, the Network is pleased to welcome Zachary Liederman, MD, MScCH - University of Toronto, and Siraj Mithoowani, MD, MSc - McMaster University, as the new Knowledge Translation Platform Co-Chairs.

MONTREAL, November 3, 2023 - During the 2023 Annual Conference at Vascular 2023 in Montreal, QC (October 26, 2023), CanVECTOR honored Kailee Morrison (Niagara Health) with the newly inaugurated Terri Schnurr Research Coordinator of the Year award.

The award, now named in remembrance of the late Terri Schnurr, aims to distinguish a non-investigator clinical research staff member who has shown exceptional teamwork, served as an inspiration to their colleagues, exhibited leadership, and has made significant contributions to the progress of CanVECTOR.

MONTREAL, August 30, 2023 – CanVECTOR's Translational / Basic Science platform recently held its Spring 2023 Studentship Awards competition, and following an independent review process, the platform is pleased to announce that six studentship awards have been granted in this competition.

MONTREAL, August 18, 2023 - The CanVECTOR Training, Mentoring, and Early Career Development platform, on behalf of both CanVECTOR and Thrombosis Canada, is pleased to announce that two trainees have been awarded Research Fellowship Awards - including the 2023 Thrombosis Canada-CanVECTOR Fellowship - in the Spring 2023 Research Training (Fellowships) Awards competition!
