Spring 2022 Studentship Awards Announced

Announcing the next CanVECTOR Co-Lead of the Clinical Trials & Shared Platforms platform: Dr. Leslie Skeith

The Network is pleased to announce that following a Network-wide Call for Nominations and vote, Dr. Leslie Skeith has been elected as the incoming CanVECTOR Co-Lead of the Clinical Trials & Shared Platforms platform as of August 1st, 2022. Dr. Skeith will replace Dr. Grégoire Le Gal -  the network's incoming Co-Director - as Co-Lead of the platform to work alongside platform Co-Lead Dr. Deborah Siegal.

MONTREAL, March 7, 2022 – CanVECTOR is now accepting applications for the Network's Spring 2022 Research Training Awards Competition with a submission deadline of April 18, 2022. The purpose of the Research Training Awards is to provide financial support for highly qualified, promising graduate students or fellows to allow them to pursue research training in thromboembolism at a Canadian Centre.

2022 Research Start-up Competition Awards Announced

 MONTREAL, January 28, 2022 – In Fall 2021, CanVECTOR's Training, Mentoring, & Early Career Development platform held it's 2022 Research Start-up Awards competition. The competition is intended to help trainees achieve their research objectives through project start-up funds for a research project or pilot work to strengthen their thrombosis research.
