MONTREAL - October 2, 2020 - The CanVECTOR Studentship Award Competition for Fall 2020 is postponed to Spring 2021 (deadline to be announced at a later date). As CanVECTOR enters Phase 2 (2020-2025), the co-leads of the Basic/Translational Science platform, Drs. Paul Kim and Ed Conway, along with the co-leads of the Training, Mentoring and Early Career Development platform, Drs. Sudeep Shivakumar and Leslie Skeith, will be taking time to review how to better engage all basic science members and grow the basic science membership nationally. We are committed to funding basic science students moving forward and we are eager to announce our new approach in Spring 2021.

Please note that the Research Start-Up Awards Competition (deadline October 30th, 2020) and the Fellowship Award Competition (deadline November 6th, 2020) will continue as scheduled.
