MONTREAL, March 12, 2020 – Today, the CanVECTOR Network launched its Spring 2020 Research Training Awards Competition with an April 15, 2020 submission deadline. The purpose of the Research Training Awards is to provide financial support for highly qualified, promising graduate students or fellows to allow them to pursue research training in thromboembolism at a Canadian Centre.
CanVECTOR offers two types of research training awards to the medical and science community: Research Fellowships, geared towards MDs aiming to become clinician scientists and investigators in venous thromboembolism (VTE), and Graduate Studentships, geared towards graduate students enrolled in MSc and PhD programs with an interest in conducting VTE-focused research developing VTE-related methodology expertise.
Thrombosis Canada-CanVECTOR Research Fellowship Award
Additionally, CanVECTOR is accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Thrombosis Canada-CanVECTOR Research Fellowship award with an April 15, 2020 deadline date. Applications for this award will be administrated through the Research Training Awards competition.
Quick Facts
