Zach Liederman , MD, FRCPC

Dr. Zach Liederman is a clinical hematologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at The University of Toronto and the University Health Network.  

Following medical school and internal medicine training at McMaster and Queen’s University, respectively, he completed residency training in hematology at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete the Alexandra Yeo Fellowship in Thrombosis and Hemostasis and a CanVECTOR research fellowship. During his training he had multiple leadership roles including serving as the Chief Hematology Resident through the Canadian Hematology Society. 

Currently, Dr. Liederman has a diverse hematology practice with a clinical focus on the management of venous thromboembolism. He remains highly involved in all levels of medical education and has a research interest in applying novel teaching methods to hematology training.
