MONTREAL, October 24, 2022 – CanVECTOR is now accepting applications for the Network's Fall 2022 Fellowship Awards Competition with a submission deadline of December 2, 2022. The purpose of the Research Training Awards is to provide financial support for highly qualified, promising graduate students or fellows to allow them to pursue research training in thromboembolism at a Canadian Centre.
CanVECTOR's Fellowship Awards are training awards geared towards MDs aiming to become clinician scientists and investigators in venous thromboembolism (VTE).

Quick Facts
- Fellowship winners may receive a maximum of $50,000 (CAD).
- Priority for fellowship awards will be given to new applicants. If additional funding is available, renewal applications will be invited and considered in the subsequent competition.
- Administered by CanVECTOR's Training, Mentoring, & Early Career Development Platform.
- The application deadline is Friday, December 2nd, 2022.
