COVID-19 Protocols

Given the evolving situation around the COVID-19 pandemic, Thrombosis Canada & CanVECTOR will be monitoring the situation and revising our plans as needed to meet local, provincial, and national government guidelines with respect to masking, social distancing and participant capacity. This may require moving to an all-virtual event or making adjustments to the venue with respect to seating, room capacity and overall room setup as we get closer to the conference date.

Thrombosis Canada & CanVECTOR will adhere to all government guidelines in place at the time of the conference with respect to an in-person event.

  • The room seating will comply with capacity requirements per government and venue direction.
  • Faculty will be presenting in-person or virtually (either pre-recorded or live) with a live question and answer component, depending on the faculty needs.
  • Meals will be served but the format has yet to be determined.
  • All participants will have the option to participate virtually for all or part of the event.
  • Exhibitors will have the option for in-person and/or virtual exhibit booths.
  • Thrombosis Canada & CanVECTOR will inform all participants in a timely manner of any changes to our plans for the conference.
