After a successful inaugural competition in 2018, the 2019 Scientific Abstract Competition is now open for submissions!
For our 4th Annual Conference, attendees will have the opportunity to showcase their research through our 2019 Scientific Abstract Competition at the 2019 CanVECTOR Annual Conference - Canada’s first and only thrombosis research conference. These abstracts will be published in the Thrombosis Research Journal Supplement.
Submission criteria
- Eligible research areas include all thrombosis research – i.e. new information on venous thrombosis and anticoagulants to advance science and clinical care
- Research work, which can be completed or still in progress, must represent new scientific information to disseminate at the time of presentation
- At least one author on the abstract must be a CanVECTOR member
- Abstracts must be submitted through the CanVECTOR Annual Conference website
- Fee of $25.00 CAD per abstract submitted must be paid at time of submission
Please make note of the following criteria that will render an abstract ineligible for presentation at the CanVECTOR annual meeting:
- Data are publicly available via major search engines (such as PubMed, Google Scholar, etc.)
- Data are accepted for publication before the abstract submission closing date
Feel free to submit abstracts that have been/will be presented at an international meeting (e.g., ISTH or ASH), but abstracts that have been presented at another national (i.e., Canadian) meeting are not eligible.
