Amin Zahrai is a graduate of the BSc program in Translational and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is in the midst of finishing his master's in clinical epidemiology at the University of Ottawa. He has collaborated with expert physicians/scientists with a research focus on the management and prediction of cancer-associated thromboses and perioperative anticoagulation prophylaxis, and has the long-term goal of improving the lives of patients with or at risk of VTE.
