Dr. Zach Liederman is a clinical hematologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at The University of Toronto and the University Health Network.
Following medical school and internal medicine training at McMaster and Queen’s University, respectively, he completed residency training in hematology at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete the Alexandra Yeo Fellowship in Thrombosis and Hemostasis and a CanVECTOR research fellowship. Since, he has remained active within CanVECTOR, including co-chairing the CanVECTOR Annual Conference in 2022 and serving as the interim co-lead of the Training, Mentoring and Early Career Development Platform.
Currently, Dr. Liederman has a diverse hematology practice with a clinical focus on the management of venous thromboembolism. He remains highly involved in knowledge translation and in all levels of medical education.
